At 3.6 Kg (7.9 Lbs), Miele Triflex is super light and easy to use but maintains enough weight for the floor head to stay firm and steady on the floor. In “Reach” configuration, the handle wights just over 4.8 lbs. In the “Comfort” configuration, it weighs about 2.2 lbs. That an impressive 50% difference from one configuration to another.
REACH MODE
This configuration is best suited for reaching under beds, sofas, furniture, and high ceiling corners, a very common design for Bagless, Cordless stick vacuum cleaners. Most of the stick vacuum cleaners are made only in this configuration. However, when vacuuming your entire house or apartment, this configuration can feel heavy and exert unwanted pressure on your hands and shoulders.
COMFORT MODE
In the Comfort position, the motor and the dust bin are placed lower on the wand. That means it distributes the weight and makes it easier on your arms and shoulders. As a matter of fact, in this configuration, the Vacuum handle exerts about 50% less pressure on hands and shoulders. The machine can also stand on its own in this position. Use this configuration when using your vacuum as your primary vacuum cleaner. Also, since the vacuum is self-standing in this configuration, you do not have to mount the charging station to your walls.
HANDHELD
The handheld position is perfect for quick cleanups on stairs, sofas, couches, in the car and around the kitchen table.
FLEXIBLE MOUNTING OPTIONS
The Triflex is completely designed around you. It’s all about how you choose to use it and how you choose to store it. You have three options as to how you can store your Triflex HX1. Like all other stick vacuum cleaners that mount onto the wall by installing the charging dock, you can choose to store your Triflex in the reach position mounted on the wall. Your second option is to mount the docking station onto the wall but in the comfort position. However, you also have the option not to drill holes in your wall and store and charge your Triflex in the self-standing configuration.
POWERFUL VORTEX MOTOR
The Triflex HX1 is equipped with a powerful motor. As a matter of fact, in a test comparing the suction power, the Triflex HX1 has been tested against a Miele complete C3 Corded Vacuum equipped with a turbo brush. Triflex HX1’s Vortex technology, combined with the powerful Electrobrush, offers suction as strong as Miele’s most powerful corded vacuum series, the Complete C3 models.
POWERFUL REPLACEABLE BATTERY
The Triflex HX1 uses one replaceable VARTA Li-Ion battery for up to 60 minutes run-time. That is an impressive run time. Unlike many other stick vacuum cleaners in the market, the battery is not built-in; it is removable. That means if the battery fails or can not hold the charge any longer, you have no option but to dispose of the vacuum. With Miele Triflex, you can easily purchase another battery and replace it with the existing one in the worst-case scenario. You might even wish to buy an extra battery as back up or increase the run time to 120 minutes. Run Times (Min): 60 Minutes – Minimum suction setting without Electrobrush attached. 34 Minutes – Mid suction setting with Electrobrush attached. 17 Minutes – Maximum suction setting with Electrobrush attached. TRIFLEX HX1 FILTRATION
Filtration has always been one of the strong suits with Miele vacuum cleaners. The Triflex HX1 comes with a HYGIENE(4) LIFETIME FILTER that captures and filters 99.98%(5) of all microscopic particles and allergens. That is achieved by Miele’s mono-cyclone Vortex technology, which separates the coarse, heavy particles from the fine dust particles. This filter is non-washable.
TWIST2OPEN 0.5 LITER DUST CONTAINER
The Twist2open feature allows you to open it easily with a single twist.
VARIABLE SUCTION CONTROL
The Miele Triflex has three suction settings. Low, Medium and High. In addition to that, Miele Triflex stays on with the flip of a switch, eliminating the need for continuous finger compression

Extra-wide 11″ electrobrush Multi Floor XXL (28cm) with automatic floor detection automatically adjusts power to different flooring for optimal results on carpets, area rugs and hard floors. This is a brilliant attachment. You can use the XXL SEB430 Electrobrush on all your floors without having to switch attachments for bare floors or carpet. The XXL SEB430 adjusts itself based on the surface you are vacuuming. You will notice, on bare floors such as hardwood, laminate and ceramic, the Electrobrush slows down automatically as it realized it is being used on a hard surface. Hard surfaces do not require agitation. Once you move onto a carpeted area or an area rug, the Electrobrush starts to spin more aggressively. That is to agitate and deep clean the carpet or rug.
